NOTES:

The current government leaves some departments accountable to the electorate and only a few to the Selectmen and Administrative Officer; the new Charter will require more accountability to the Town Manager.


Under the proposed Charter, nearly all appointments made by the Town Manager must be approved by the Selectmen.
